Other than Windows Live (MSN) Messenger, Google Talk (GTalk) and Yahoo! Messenger, users of VLC can also let VLC go to polygamy, that’s running multiple instances of VLC. The polygamy trick can be done without any crack, patch or hack, with just a simple command line parameter or switch (/nomutex) appended to the VLC shortcut.
Ability to polygamy running multiple VLC is useful if users want to play multiple media file at the same time on the same computer.
